Jody Warfield

A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Jody moved to Virginia in 1979 after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Journalism and Political Science. Following several years in marketing and fundraising, she opened her own firm in 1992 – Warfield & Walsh, Inc – providing comprehensive fundraising services to political and non-profit clients as diverse as the Republican National Committee, the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, and the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team Foundation.

Jody sold her business in 2004 and became an active volunteer for Highland School, serving as a library assistant, parent buddy reader, director of the Parent Association lunch program, Annual Fund chair and class captain, chair of Highland for the Holidays, and various roles for the annual Auction gala. A member of the Board of Trustees from 2011-2020, Jody served as Advancement Chair and Vice Chair, and has now returned as Board Chair. She also serves on the Advancement Committee of the Fauquier Free Clinic and volunteers at the Delaplane location of the Fauquier Food Pantry. Jody and her husband Nelson are the proud parents of Luke, Valedictorian of the Class of 2020 who is now attending Wake Forest University with a major in Mathematical Business and minors in Computer Science and Global Trade & Commerce.
Highland School is a co-ed independent Pre-K2 to Grade 12 day school located in Warrenton, Virginia.
