Shannon Moss

Raised by educators in Ohio, Shannon graduated from Miami University with a B.S. in Management Information Systems. Shannon has traveled extensively within the U.S. and internationally providing technology leadership consulting to many Fortune 500 companies.  After 9/11, she focused her efforts on work within the U.S. Intelligence Community. Shannon has held leadership positions at Accenture, Booz Allen Hamilton, and the federal government. Currently, she is a leader at Microsoft in their federal practice. 
 
Shannon, her husband Joel, and sons Evan ’31 and Cooper ’34 joined the Highland community in 2019. Shannon has enjoyed being an active volunteer at Highland School serving as library assistant, Young Hawks Basketball Coach, Parent Ambassador, Parent Association (P.A.) Class Representative, and now P.A. President.  Additionally, she has been a volunteer Sunday School teacher, Junior League of Washington Committee Chair, Secretary of her alma mater’s alumni association, and community event planner.  Shannon also delights in coaching and cheering for her sons’ sports teams. 
Highland School is a co-ed independent Pre-K2 to Grade 12 day school located in Warrenton, Virginia.
