Middle School Faculty Positions

Middle School Spanish Teacher
The Middle School Spanish teacher reports to the Middle School Director and collaborates with other Middle School teachers. The Middle School places a strong emphasis on habits of learning, which include a growth mindset, personal responsibility, communication, and organization.

Students in fifth through seventh grade study Spanish, and the courses are designed to expose students to the Spanish language and culture. When students reach eighth grade, they have the option of choosing Spanish I, French I, or Latin I for high school credit. Though often the Spanish I course is taught by the Upper School Spanish teacher, occasionally the Middle School Spanish teacher has the opportunity to teach it.

For more information on how to apply, please review the Position Statement.

Interested candidates should email a cover letter and resume to Sam Stover, Middle School Director at sstover@highlandschool.org.
