Alec Burnett

Alec Burnett serves as President and CEO of the Fauquier Chamber of Commerce, bringing over three decades of executive leadership in hospitality, operations, and public service to the Highland School Board of Trustees. A lifelong Warrenton resident and former Ward 2 Town Council member, Alec previously held leadership roles with Hilton Hotels and served as GM and COO of Fauquier Springs Country Club. He holds a B.A. from Johnson & Wales University and actively serves on regional boards, including the Virginia Chamber of Commerce Executives Association.

Alec’s connection to Highland School spans generations: he attended the school through 1977, and his two sons, Devon and Max, are Highland graduates. He and his wife, Teri, reside in Warrenton and are also the proud parents of their daughter, Hope.
