I have a true calling for public service. Since 1984, I have lived by the adage “To protect and serve.” I served in the U.S. Army, retired from the Fairfax County Police Department, and now in the security and facility management industry.
My graduate degree is from Norwich University and my undergraduate from Mountain State University. My strength and conditioning facilitators’ certification is from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Professional memberships include the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and the International Facility Management Association (IFMA).
The world is an ever-changing place and safety is a paramount concern. Having the ability to play a role in maintaining a safe, positive-learning environment at Highland has been a privilege.
