Show Your Love for Highland!
"I give because it enables Highland to offer unique curricula other schools have cut, or never had. My son spoke in front of 200 people AND reporters at age 7. It was nothing new to him - he'd been speaking at assemblies and in plays since Pre-K!" KAREN BECK-HERZOG
There are many ways you can show your love for Highland School. Since the School's founding in 1928, active participation by our families has been instrumental in fostering our school's tradition of excellence.
Throughout our history, parents, grandparents, alumni, parents of alumni, faculty, and friends have given generously of their time and financial resources to support operational needs, capital improvements, and our endowment. Please consider supporting Highland in the following areas:
Give to The Highland Fund
The mainstay of Highland School's fundraising is the annual fund. Contributions to this fund are raised and spent during the current fiscal year to offset operating costs. The Leadership Donor Reception is held each fall to honor those donors who have contributed $1,000 or more in combined annual giving to Highland School. Read more about our Highland Fund here.
Make a Gift
Planned gifts provide an opportunity for donors to support Highland School through deferred giving. Those who create bequests or other planned giving, including through insurance policies, are honored in our Legacy Society. For more information, contact our Development team.
Attend our Special Events
The two largest fundraising events of the year are the Auction and the Golf Tournament. Both events are primarily organized by parents. Funds raised from these events are used to offset the operating budget and programs that directly impact our students and faculty. You can read more about our special events here. For more information, contact Briar Leake.
There is a wide range of volunteer opportunities at Highland School. Find out how you can get involved by talking to your Parents Association grade representative. Learn more about how to volunteer or become involved with our Parents Association.
