HERE’S WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT HIGHLAND:
Student Testimonial #2

"I was attracted to Highland's small class sizes, high-quality academics, and diverse opportunities for student growth – not only inside the classroom but far beyond as well."

Highland Upper School Student

Student Testimonial #1

"I love the small class sizes at Highland. Everyone seems more closely connected than other schools I have attended."

Highland Upper School student

New Parent Testimonial #4

"Highland delivers exactly what they promise. They deliver the best education geared toward each individual student."

New Highland Parent

New Parent Testimonial #5

"The whole student is not complete without the arts. We would not be fulfilling our mission as a school if we didn't have a robust arts program that served the entire student."

Michael Hughes, Highland's Artistic Director

New Parent Testimonial #3

"Lots of schools say it, but Highland School means it – not only do they nurture the whole child, but they appreciate each child's individuality."

New Highland Parent

This Fall, Monica Livingston addressed students as the keynote speaker for this year's Leadership Conference in The Rice Theater. Monica is a former professional football player for the DC Divas and an inspiring motivational speaker.
Recently, fives students and one teacher delivered this year's round of 'This I Believe' speeches to classmates, faculty, and family in The Rice Theater.
Middle School is a unique time. Students are going through so many changes it can be hard to keep up. Challenges can come in the classroom, from peers, and from family. Our educational experts help our students make sense of what's happening while preparing them for the next steps in their academic journeys.
Recently, Dr. Ella (Miller) Mantiply '09 addressed our Winter All School Gathering in the Upper School gym. Dr. Mantiply, who recently earned a PhD in Physical Therapy, invited students to seize all the opportunities that Highland offers.
