Week One: June 23 - 27, 2008

Jump Rope
Ages: 6-8
Instructor: Coach Boyd
Time: 1:00 pm. to 4:00 p.m.
Cost: $125

Learn all the tricks possible to do yourself and with a team.  Learn basic jump rope skills and routines while developing coordination, balance, and timing.  Students use both single and long ropes to learn tricks found in double-dutch and freestyle competitions. There will be a performance at week’s end for campers to show off their skills!

Sportsfeast
Ages: 6-12
Instructor: P. Robinson
Time: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Cost: $125

This coed camp is for children who love to be active and engaged in fun activities.  There will be a variety of games and sports to participate in.  Sports will include basketball, soccer, volleyball, softball and others.  Along with sport skills, campers will acquire knowledge of the game, self-confidence, and good sportsmanship.

Field Hockey - No Longer Available
Ages: 9-12
Instructor: N. Sufrin
Time 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Cost: $155

Introduction to the basics of field hockey with Highland’s varsity coach and current team players. Learn about defense, passing, possession, shooting, and teamwork!

Boys Lacrosse
Ages: 9-12
Instructor: K. Helmick
Time 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Cost: $155

Join Coach Helmick, current players and alumni in an exciting week of lacrosse.  Campers will participate in a wide variety of drills and stations to improve their game.  Small sided games, with concentration on game strategy will also be an opportunity to demonstrate their skills to parents and fans.  All campers will be separated based on years of experience and skill level.
