I still can’t get over being in this area and being so connected to the environment.  I can’t believe those people are missing out on this amazing adventure; we’re the lucky ones.

We found some animal tracks that led into the mud pit.  At first I didn’t think is was very soft, but I climbed a rock and jumped into the sludge.  I couldn’t’ stop laughing because I was 3 feet deep in mud.  Mike and I spent 10 minutes mucking around.
