Whitewater Rafting

September 20, 2008

Closing out the summer in wet & wild style, we are taking a trip to the wonderful Youghiogheny River in Pennsylvania. The stretch of river is not only beautiful, but it packs quite a punch with consistent Class III rapids. We will wind our way down the Lower Yough the entire afternoon, stopping for a riverside lunch and splashing in the riffles. Sign-up deadline for this trip is Wednesday, Sept. 17.

False Cape Camping

October 18-19, 2008

Dog Sledding

January 16-19, 2009 (President's Day Weekend)

This popular trip from 2006 is back! Travel with us to scenic Maine, where we will mush a dog sled team across beautiful Lake Umbagog to a cozy cove. Here we will camp for two nights in warm canvass tents, sleeping on aromatic pine needles (amazingingly soft!) and listening to the sounds of the Maine woods. Our team will also get the opportunity to x-country ski on our layover day, as we hike/ski through the woods. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Night Skiing

January 30, 2009 & February 6, 2009

Get you skis and snowboards ready! Drop your books, we're hitting the slopes for the evening. What better way to kick off the weekend than hanging with your friends on the slopes. Two trip dates are offered.

Canaan Valley Skiing

February 20-22, 2009

Attention serious skiers, here is a two-day event you won't want to miss! We are trekking to Canaan Valley, West Virginia where we will ski/board both area slopes. Canaan Valley Resort and Timberline both offer some exciting downhill excitement. We are spending the evening in a pretty cool cabin only minutes from the resorts. In the evenings, we can choose to ice skate and/or tube! Snow fun all around.

Spring Break: Rio Grande Expedition

March 13-21, 2009

High sandstone walls, blue skies and calm waters of the Rio Grande await you this Spring Break. A small but dedicated-to-paddle group experienced this amazing adventure in 2008, and took home memories of a lifetime. Not only will you experience a canoeing trip worth remembering, but you will get the opportunity to view wildlife, learn a bit of its history, scramble side canyons and sleep under a rich blanket of stars. Truly an amazing experience.
