Middle School: Co-curricular Programs
There are many extra- and co-curricular programs that meet the emotional and social needs of Middle School students as well, including Student Council, Blue/Gold competitions, National Junior Honor Society, The Green Team, Battle of the Books, class plays and sports. These activities allow students to explore new or different areas of interest and strengthen existing abilities. Through the Field Studies program, students are given the opportunity to step outside their comfort zone and experience outdoor and team-building activities such as rafting, canoeing, hiking, ropes courses, and camping. Ski days and winter activities, along with grade level social activities (such as dances for Grades 7 and 8 and outings such as bowling or a teen game night for Grades 5 and 6) are also provided to help the students navigate the unique challenges associated with the Middle School years.
