Join the Parents Association

The role of the Parents Association at Highland School is to enrich our students’ school experience while fostering a sense of community through consistent and meaningful parental involvement. Thanks to the generous support of parents like you, we are able to offer our students services, programs, and equipment that would otherwise not be available.

Through the invaluable assistance we provide in the classrooms, administrative offices, and hallways of each of Highland's three divisions, the members of our Parents Association are an integral part of the Highland community. We also work diligently to enhance communication between parents, administration, faculty, staff and Highland's Board of Trustees.

We know that all of our parents are busy with the demands of everyday life, but we also know that even a small contribution of your time and energy can significantly contribute to the Parents Associations efforts to foster a vibrant and nurturing educational environment for our students, to assist our faculty and staff, and to sponsor and support enriching activities for our community.

Getting involved is easy
Interested in getting involved with our Parents Association? We host informal parent coffees throughout the year and often present volunteer opportunities at these morning events. The purpose of the Parents’ Association is to promote and foster the well-being and continued advancement of Highland through parent involvement and education.

The Parent Association Board meets monthly and also includes three General Membership meetings throughout the academic year. The Board is comprised of an Executive Committee (president, vice president, secretary and treasurer), as well as a Parent Representatives for each grade and a School Representative.

We invite you to join us!
Historically, Highland parents have been very involved in the life of the school, exhibiting a deep commitment to Highland’s strong sense of education and community.  Volunteering through the Parents Association is a wonderful way to get to know the school and make the most of what Highland has to offer. In addition to outstanding academics, Highland provides an enriching community for its students and families.
